Classes are 90 minutes

Lunch is during 3rd block for approx. 30 minutes

Progress Report every 6 weeks

Final grades posted at the conclusion of each semester One Semester Course = 1 credit

Air Force JROTC Objectives of JROTC are to educate and train high

school cadets in citizenship, promote community service, instill responsibility, character, and self-discipline, and provide instruction in air and space fundamentals

Curriculum and opportunities include: Academic studies in Aerospace Science and Leadership

AthleticsEligibility: To participate, students must be promoted to the next grade, pass 3 out of 4 classes during the previous semester and must have attended not less than 85% of the previous semester.

Upcoming Events for Rising Freshmen April 14-16:High School counselors will be at Parkwood

Middle to meet and register rising freshmen for next year’s classes

April 14th: Welcome to Parkwood Night! Open to all students and parents   Tables will be set up in the student center to

showcase all aspects of PWHS life including: extra-curriculars, CTE, athletics, Guidance, PTSO, etc.  

Begins at 6pm with a Welcome in the Gym August 17th: Freshman Boot Camp

A half day event to help freshmen students make a successful transition from middle school to high school.
