LET’S DO DINNER Coordinators: Anne Pelton 250-586-9026 [email protected] Mary Ellen Chambers 250-586-2755 [email protected] An evening around the dinner table enjoying a delicious home-cooked meal is a great way to meet and really get to know people in our Newcomers Club. So come join us, and Let’s Do Dinner. Dinners are the fourth Tuesday of each month; the next Dinner is on January 24. The concept is simple – the host provides the main course and tea/coffee, guests supply appetizers, salad or dessert, and everyone brings their preferred beverage for the evening. You just sign up each month when you want to participate, and indicate if you are able to host that month. Sign up will be at the Newcomers Club meeting (first Thursday of the month) or by email to the coordinators by the Saturday following that meeting. Participants for the month will be divided into groups of 6-8, and a list of hosts and their guests will be sent out by email to the hosts, who will contact each of their guests to decide who will bring what course, and also to provide details about time and address.
