Parkour
Parkour - the art of movement and overcoming obstacles, usually in urban areas. Ideologists of the movement are David Belle and Sebastien Foucan. Parkour is actively
practiced by many associations and individuals in many countries.
The essence of Parkour is a movement and overcoming obstacles of various kinds. They can be as existing architectural structures (handrails, railings, walls, etc.), and specially
constructed structures (used at events and trainings).
Parkour appeared in Russia on October 1, 2002, when the
official site of the team «TheTracers» was opened.
All we had before, it was the usual "underground."

People doing parkour, called tracers.
Parkour - a discipline that represents a set of skills, body control, which at the right moment can be applied in different situations. The main idea of Parkour is the
principle of "no borders, there are only obstacles" and any obstacle can be overcome. The main restrictions imposed in
parkour are in three axioms: safety, efficiency, simplicity. Anything that goes against them is beyond the scope of
parkour.
Parkour doesn’t teach to use any means or device, and allows you to use only your own body and
develop skills for behavior in the situation of "here and now".
Founder of Parkour - David Belle
When Sebastian Foucan parted with David Belle, he formed his vision of parkour, which is called the Freerunning.
Freerunning is street sport without borders, it also contains the elements of acrobatics.
