We are encouraging as many parents as possible to use the on-line ordering feature as it will allow us to better track student orders. Yearbooks will cost $16 per copy until December 18, 2011. Please click on the following link: http://jostensyearbooks.com?REF=A01102972 K-4 Grade Recess Reminder: As the weather gets colder, please make sure your children have: hats, gloves, snow pants, boots, and winter coats. As weather permits, we will have outdoor recess. The blacktop provides an area for students to play that are not dressed for the snow. We will be outside for recess unless the wind chill drops below zero degrees. Pennies for Pasta Fundraiser: We would like to congratulate the students and parents of Park School for raising almost $3,500 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. We are extremely proud of everyone for their support and participation. A special thanks to student council led by Ms. Sibigtroth and Mrs. Kahn for organizing the fundraiser. Safety Procedure: As adults enter our facility and pass through our school office, we are scanning photo IDʼs and printing a photo visitorʼs badge. Please bring a photo ID every time you visit our school. This safety system has been instituted in each of our districtʼs schools and adds another layer of security for our students, parents, and staff. If you are volunteering, please allow a few extra minutes.

Arrival & Dismissal:Please continue to use south (K-4) and west (5-8) lots for arrival and dismissal. It is a safety risk to drop-off or pick-up students in the east parking lot. By minimizing the number of people moving through the east parking lot at arrival and dismissal times we can ensure the safety of all students and keep the procession of cars moving as quickly as possible. Thanks for your continued assistance as the colder months arrive.
Canned Food Drive:Park Campus is working in collaboration with Grayslake Central High School to provide food for families in need throughout Avon Township. The food drive will run through Friday, 12/9. Please continue to send non-perishable items for donation to school with your child(ren).

December is one of the shortest months in the school year, but that won’t stop the PTO from making it a month packed with great events!
On December 3rd, we’re holding our first SNOWFLAKE CELEBRATION. It’s a carnival, bake sale, craft and vendor fair, obstacle course and story telling event all in one! Please make sure you stop by SATURDAY DECEMBER 3rd between 11:30am and 2:30pm to check out this PTO sponsored event! Tickets are on sale at the door for use at games and concessions!
Muffins with Moms will be held December 9th at 7:50am in the multi-purpose room. Muffins, juice and coffee will be served for you and your child(ren) to enjoy!
This is a great month to place Market Day orders! Get some holiday pies or cookies for your
family get togethers and help earn money for Park Campus!
Don’t forget...the Mitten Tree will be available for Park families to take and fulfill to help make someone’s holiday brighter! This is a great way to come together as a family to help those in need. Please take a moment to look at the Mitten Tree near the foyer of the school to see if you can assist fulfilling someone’s wish. Please turn in the gifts for these families on or before December 13th. Attach the mitten on the gift when you turn it in.
Last month, the PTO held Donuts with Dads. We had the largest turnout in Park Campus history for this event! It was so great to see so many of you come out to enjoy special time with your child(ren) and supporting the PTO! We’d like to thank the
Mundelein Starbucks Coffee for donating the delicious coffee at the event! Please support their business when possible as thanks for their donation!
We wish all of you a warm holiday season, and a fun Winter Break!
