PAGE 6 THIRTY-SECOND SUNDAY IN ORDINARY T IME
Dear Sacred Heart of Jesus Parishioners and Academy Families
This week our Academy students have two
days off from school. Our teachers will attend the Ohio
Catholic Education Association Convention in downtown
Cleveland on Thursday and Friday, November 12 and 13.
Many Catholic school teachers and administrators from
various parts of the State will be in Cleveland for this
Covention.
Many of our students have shown great success this First
Quarter. Many earned Honors, and we applaud their
efforts. Several students earned extra awards as Most
Improved students. They will receive a McDonald’s lunch
this week. Other students earned HEART Awards for their
exceptional behavior and respect for others. We are proud
of all our students.
Parents of eighth graders are invited to attend an important
Confirmation meeting with Fr. Ireland on Wednesday, the
11th, at 7 o’clock in the St. Margaret Mary Meeting Room
in the basement of the Rectory. This is the initial step for
the students as they prepare to receive the Sacrament of
Confirmation. Keep them in your prayers.
Grade 5 will be on a walking field trip to the new Public
Library located across from Notre Dame College. They
will have a tour of the new facility and be given an
instructional Science class.
“Give thanks in all circumstances,
for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” Thessalonians 5:18
With God’s Blessings, William DiBacco, Principal
