weekly in the bulletin and is receiving positive comments from parishioners. Bob DeMarini motioned to accept the report and Lou Hosking seconded. *Service and Plant: Yale thanked Jack Schuster for replacing a faucet in the sacristy. A new spec was written for the new boiler and included replacing all of the zone valves and controls, new thermostats, proper disposal of glycol, and spare parts. Still awaiting the return of all quotes. Father Joe would ideally like to try to have the boiler replaced before the end of October. *CCD…Diana Blair was unable to attend but submitted a report. (see attached). Currently there are 105 students registered (63 families). All CCD registrations forms had a volunteer form attached. (see attached). Donna Lebert will convert his document to a pdf so it can also be on the website. It should also be in the bulletin and handed out to parishioners in September, October and November. Vacation Bible Camp was a great week with 20 campers. Diana is working to solidify teachers for the 2017-18 CCD year. Al Karg suggested that families who have not yet registered receive the registration and volunteer form via snail mail. Donna Shanoff motioned to accept the report and Carole Pleines seconded. *TIA: (See report attached) Jack Schuster reported that CHWC was a success once again. It was a ‘next level’ camp so the campers attended Mass daily and were offered the opportunity to go to Adoration. 15 new campers attended. Carole Pleines suggested videotaping the teens talk when they return from CHWC. TIA will start up again in September with the ice cream sundae kick off. Dan O’Sullivan will be asked to see if he ever looked into diocese insurance to do parish wide community service projects at other times during the years. Catholic Underground is something that will be considered for the future. Liturgy: John Balchus submitted minutes from the June 2017 meeting. (see attached) They are seeking adult altar servers since there are fewer youth servers. Blessings for CCD teachers, college students and 8th and 9th grade will be scheduled. Donna Lebert motioned to approve the minutes and Carole Pleines seconded. Finance: Father Joe read a report from Dan O’Sullivan who was unable to attend the council meeting. Income and expenses were both down for 2017. Total net income for 2017 was $578.64. This report will also be published in the bulletin. Donna Shanoff motioned to accept the revised report and Carole Pleines seconded.

*Website/Communications: Parish council meeting minutes are now up to date and current on the website. Father Joe is still working on getting everything needed to publish the homily on the website. A discussion ensued regarding ways to get WiFi to both the church and the hall. Creative Ideas for a Vibrant Church and Evangelization (formerly called Rebuilding Parish Seminar) * ‘Fallen Away Catholics’: Father Joe has completed the list needed to write the cards. He would like help with writing them. He reported we have an increase in registered families (680 families). *Evangelization: Yale Gordon suggested that the parish council and any interested parishioners meet the alternate 4th Thursday of the month to discuss this topic. The first meeting will be August 24th at 7 pm in the church hall. Yale will present this after Masses. *Pillar Re-Alignment: Father Joe met with most of the pillar leaders. A pillar leader is still needed for Vocations, Traffic/Safety and Newcomers. He will send out the final list to the council for review and approval within the next week. There are 55 total active ministries. Stewardship Committee: Sue Adinolfo presented a report. (see attached). Semper Fi is a new organization for this year. Reports periodically appear in the bulletin. New Business: *Sue Adinolfo received a request from a parishioner to relocate the call list for the Eucharistic ministers. A decision was made for Eileen Boulay to email the list to ministers. Suggestion Box: Diaper changing station: will be installed the first week of August. Yale Gordon handed a suggestion to Father Joe that did not need to be read to the council as it was meant to reach him. Next meeting will be Thursday September 28, 2017 from 7-8:30 pm. A motion was made by Yale Gordon to close the meeting. It closed at 8:35 pm with a prayer led by Fr. Joe. Respectfully submitted by Melissa Ferrara Secretary
