Talking to your kids about drugs and alcohol is a tough conversation, but a necessary one. It's very important to start talking to them early before your child enters their pre-teen years and begins to possibly exhibit rebellion and more independent thinking. That way, they are able to have a safe, honest conversation with you on how drugs and alcohol can affect them before they're influenced by their peers, and how to stay safe if they enter into a situation where drugs and alcohol are offered to them. If your child is already suffering from addiction, help is available. Learn more at iaddiction.com and take the assessment to see if you or a loved one is addicted to drugs or alcohol.
