On Wednesday 20th June Crossways Lutheran School took 21
Competitors from Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 to represent Crossways at
the 42nd Tcharkuldu Cross Country Run. The children did
extremely well. They all completed the course and behaved
responsibly. It was great to see them support and encourage
each other positively on the day.
Thankyou to Miss Norsworthy Nicola Cotton for your support on
the Day.

Yr 3/4 Streaky Bay Camp
……………………………………………..
On Wednesday, 13th June, Miss Bahr’s class travelled to Streaky Bay for their 3-day camp.
Although the weather started off bleak and miserable, the skies soon cleared and we were blessed with sunshine and beautiful days.
Students were filled with excitement as they arrived and settled into their cabins, before heading off to Murphy’s Haystacks for an afternoon exploration.
Students also had the opportunity to visit the wetlands at the Streaky Bay Area School and enjoyed scenic tours to destinations along the coast such as the Blowholes and Smooth Pools. Before returning on Friday, 15th June, students visited the Powerhouse Museum, had their photo taken with the giant shark and were also treated to lunch at the Streaky Bay Hotel.
Students are to be congratulated on their behaviour and positive attitude while away on camp. It was a fantastic and memorable experience!
Thank you to Mr. Puccio for driving the bus and to our helpers, Eleanor and Nikki.
Miss Bahr.

The Reception students had a visit last week from Ceduna
Police. The students learnt a lot about what Police do in our
community, had a look at the police car and got to hear the loud
siren. Thankyou to Ceduna Police for your visit.
