Students receive stamps based around the five ‘Keys to Success’ in YCDI.

Once all 25 squares are completed a YCDI 25 certificate is presented.

Banking is every Thursday Morning at 9.00am.

Assembly is every Friday morning at 8:50am – Parents are welcome to attend.

Religion – TBA NB: Students not participating require a note.

Uniforms must be neat, tidy and clean. They must be navy blue shorts or culottes with the blue school tops or correct dress uniform.

Senior shirts – any day, but particularly Friday, excursions and photo day.

Jumpers must be navy blue. Shoes must be closed in and lace up. (Keep them on in the playground!) Socks must be worn. No hat – no play! (This includes PE.) Jewellery: One set of earrings not hanging. (No spacers, body piercings,

bracelets, anklets, necklaces or rings allowed) No coloured nail polish to be worn at school.

Children are permitted to bring a healthy, non-messy snack to eat in class at their desk around 10:00am to help boost their concentration and energy levels.

They must be able to eat with one hand and continue working.

Examples are: apple, banana, strawberries, cheese, dried fruit, carrot sticks, cherry tomatoes etc.

No cakes, biscuits, chips, snack bars or messy foods such as yogurt.

Due to student allergies please be mindful not to include nuts in your child's lunchbox.

Students who arrive at school before 8:30AM are required to remain in the undercover area outside the Snack Shack with their school bags.

All students are required to be seated until 8:30AM when they can then be involved in ‘quiet play’. Quiet play looks and sounds like hand ball, reading or chatting. 

Teachers may collect students should they have activities / homework / reading to do in their classroom.

The oval and other areas of the school are not to be accessed in the morning unless under the direct supervision of a teacher.

Notification is required from parents each time a child is absent from school:

Phone call to the office – if the child is going to be absent for several days due to illness; or

Letter to the class teacher – the day the child returns to school.

Paid to the money window at the office before school (Monday – Thursday) or through internet banking.

No money to the classroom.

• All books are to be kept neat and tidy. No drawing, cutting/holes or graffiti will be accepted.

• In every book except for Maths, students should have a ruled margin. Students are to use a heading and date for all work.
