Parboiled Comics

Back in May, I made the first issue of

Parboiled Comics. I only expected friends and family to buy a copy and hoped to raise some

money for Cancer Research. One Friday in May I watched the amount of money rocket

up to around £1500 on the Parboiled Just Giving page. I didn’t expect such generosity from strangers. Only half of the people who donated wanted a comic in return, the other

half just donated.

The original plan was to produce around 4 issues a year and to reach the £1000 target over a period of 5 years. I realised I had to change that plan after people had already been so generous so I’ve decided to make

issue #2 available online for free and if people want to donate to my Just Giving site then

they can.
