THE LIKELY FUTURE

A bio-based world supported by the forests and other sustainable sources

Consumer and environmental safety paramount with all products and processes

A clear industrial shift towards bio-refining, supporting packaging, tissue, and a host of bio-based alternatives

to fossil fuel based products

Paper is a part of our lives and will continue to be so for the foreseeable future.

The technical advancements in production leaves most other industries far behind.

Now papermaking is an industry undergoing transformation… perhaps even more so in

the coming twenty years.

Papermaking may soon be about more than just paper, packaging, and tissue. Paper

may one day be known to have created a bio-based world, where everything in it comes from sustainable source and everything is

recycled.

Whichever direction the future takes us, we hope that we have inspired you to actively

think forward!
