    It used to be that February was Baguio City’s least favorable

    month, experiencing a doldrum in the number of visitor

    arrivals that usually peak in December for the holiday

    season! and "arch or #pril for the $enten %eason!, on top of

    the summer months& 'owever, with the introduction of the

    (anagbenga Festival, February became a time of pageantry,

    fun and merrymaking in Baguio City as the city becomes

    covered with the most beautiful )owers in the region&

     *ogether with its blooms, (anagbenga also showcases the

    di+erent cultures of its tribes such as the Igorots and the

    Ibalois& In fact, the street dance of the (anagbenga features

    dances that are inspired by these cultural tribes&

    -hy you should be there. %imultaneously get a taste ofBaguio’s tribal culture and the *ournament of /oses parade&

     Fertility Dance at Obando

    Couples who wish to have a child flock to Obando, Bulacan, and

    every May 17 to 1 to !oin the street dance in "onor of #anta Clara$

    %he street dancing is said to be a prayer &ade by the couple$ %he

    belief ste&s fro& early practice and is said to be effective, as so&e

    have been &iraculously blessed with an offspring soon after they

    !oined the dancing$

    Bangus Festival

    +agupan is known as the Bangus Capital of the Philippines, and the

    City lays its clai& to this by holding the Bangus Festival for 1 days

    %he bangus, or &ilkfish, festival pays tribute to the City/s biggest

    industry and features various activities that center on the fish$ Fro&deboning to eating, fro& the longest to the heaviest and even to the
