Life Chain SundayTomorrow/Today, Sunday, October 3 is Life Chain Sunday. The Life Chain is the largest prayerful and peaceful public witness pro-life event in the world. Blessing of PetsMonday October 4th is the Feast of St. Francis. On this day we will have a Blessing of Pets a"er school at 3:30 pm on the Plaza. Bring your favorite furry—and not so furry– friends (on leashes or kenneled please) to be blessed.
MOMSThe MOMs group will meet this coming Wednesday, Oct 6, at 9:00 a.m. in Allen Hall. Free childcare is available. MOMS group will be sponsoring a Halloween costume drive to benefit the patrons of the Lord’s Diner. Please drop off any new or gently used costumes in the MOMS box in the Church Cloister. K of C Tootsie Roll DriveThe Knights of Columbus are sponsoring their annual Tootsie Roll Drive again this year. Council members will be at all ex-its a"er Masses on October 9-10. One hundred percent of the dona!ons collected will benefit persons with intellectual disabili!es.

The PSR Coordinator is responsible for implemen!ng the strategic plan for our Parish School of Reli-gion, which is the religious educa!on program for young parishioners who do not a&end Catholic School. Time commit-ment is approximately 4 hours per week. The Welcome Coordinator is responsible for welcoming new parishioners, new parishioner recep!ons, and Visitor Sundays. Time commitment is approximately 5-15 hours per week. The Leader of Youth Ministries is responsible for implemen!ng the parish’s strategic plan for serving the social and forma!onal needs of our parish youth, grades K – 12 and coordina!ng and overseeing parish youth programs including, but not limited to, high school youth group, middle school youth group, and Totus Tuus.
