LOCATION of this cityThe city is f loating on the sea because there is not much empty land available on earth. Furthermore, it will have access to underwater resources such as oil and gas.

Recently, global warming has been on the rise and the melting of ice at the poles is getting worse which causes water levels on the earth to rise. This causes f looding to happen in many parts of the world. Hence, to prevent further damage caused by f loods, the logical solution is to build a city which is eco-friendly and able to withstand additional forces and extreme water levels caused by f looding.

NAME & SHAPE of this cityThe name of this city is inspired by the word nautical. Nautical means of or relating to sailors or ships. The reason why I use this shape is because it is aerodynamic which is able to withstand the destructive force produced by the tides and reduce f low of water into the city.
