Chimes Welcome and Announcements Prayer Prelude “All Hail the Power” Joel Raney

(Dottie Heebner, piano)

*Call to Worship

Grace to you and peace from the one who is and who was and who is to come,

and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the

dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth.

Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts.

The whole earth is full of God’s glory.

*Hymn #29 “O Worship the King” Call to Confession Prayer of Confession

Holy One, we dare to call you Lord, but yield to you only fragments

of our lives. You had nowhere to lay your head; we surround

ourselves with comfort. We expect to serve you with what

remains after we have indulged our desires. Forgive our greed,

our lack of trust, our desire to pick the times and places we will

respond to your call. In your abundant mercy teach us what it

means to follow, even at the cost of our lives. Amen.

Pastoral Prayer and the Lord’s Prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven,

hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come,

thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread,

and forgive us our debts,

as we forgive our debtors.

And lead us not into temptation

but deliver us from evil:

For thine is the kingdom,

and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

Call to Offering Offertory “O Worship the King” Joel Raney

(Dottie Heebner, piano)

Doxology “Doxology of Thanks” arr. Patti Drennan

Prayer of Dedication

Our offerings measure our faithfulness to you, mighty God. They

are witness to the importance we place on sharing your Word,

ministering to one another, and reaching out to make a

difference in your world. As we have been influenced by your

love in Jesus Christ, help us to communicate that love by what

we do and say. Let us become as lamps brightening a cloudy day,

as light breaking forth at dawn. To that end, we dedicate

ourselves with our gifts. Amen.

Thank You!!!! Another Holiday Bazaar is in the books and the Ladies’ Aid would like to take this opportunity to say THANK YOU to everyone that helped in any way. This year’s Bazaar was a great success thanks to the many hands that helped to make that success possible. We couldn’t have done it without you. We hosted 25 vendors plus our special features; Little Creek Farms Bee Keepers, Schwenkfelder Library & Heritage Center, and our youth sponsored Kids Corner. The ladies always do a great job with their tables filled with homemade baked items, chow chow, jellies, red beets and peanut butter candy. A successful Bazaar takes many hours of preparation and work, but once again, with your help, we did it!!!!! THANKS SO MUCH! Thank You I want to thank Pastor Nick for his visitations, and to everyone for their best wishes and get well cards during my recovery from knee surgery.
