Mohenjo-daro• Mohenjo-daro, literally means the "mound of the dead". It is one of the two biggest cities of the Indus Valley Civilization. •Known for remarkable construction of the buildings, highly developed drainage system and elaborate bath area. It was an agricultural city.

Harappa•An ancient and amazing urban settlement of the prehistoric period, Harappa dates back to 3rd to 2nd millennium B.C. •Harappa houses an interesting and well-maintained museum that has the finest collection of artifacts found in the area.

Taxila•Taxila has over 50 Archaeological sites within its radius of 30 kms. Dhamarajika Stupa and Monastery (300 BC - 200 AD), Bhir Mound (600-200 BC), Sirkap (200 BC - 600 AD), Jandial Temple (c.250 BC) and Jaulian Monastery (200 – 600 AD) are most important of these.

Fairs and Festivals‘Basant’ is not only a kite flying event, but also a cultural festival of traditional food, dresses, dances and music. Spring is marked by thousands of colorful kites dotting the skies of Lahore in the month of February.

Horse and Cattle Show Lahore hosts the largest and mostfamous cattle festivals in Pakistan. People from all over gather at the Fortress Stadium to parade, race and trade their livestock.

Karachi ‘Gateway to Pakistan’

• Cosmopolitan Karachi welcomes people from all parts of the world. Located on the eastern coast of the Arabian Sea, it is Pakistan's busiest commercial city hosting great activities in trade, industry, education etc. It is a city, equipped with the most modern cinemas, recreational clubs, hotels and restaurants. descendents of five wandering soldiers of Alexander the Great.

• Karimabad, the capital of Hunza Valley with miles of terraced fields and fruit orchards offers a panoramic view of the Rakaposhi, Ultar and Balimo peaks.

• Baltit Fort is inhabited by the ruling family of the Hunza State.

• The Ruby Mines are nearby. A sales centre located at Aliabad sells precious and semi-precious stones and jewellery.

Skardu• Amidst a landscape of

towering mountains, deep gorges, crashing waterfalls and quiet lakes, Skardu, the district headquarters of Baltistan, is situated on the banks of the mighty river Indus,

• the entire region is known as a mountaineers' paradise.

• The five main valleys are Skardu, Shigar, Khaplu, Rondu and Kharmang. All produce apricots, peaches, pears and apples in such profusion that this region is known as the land of apricots and apples.

Murree• Galliat region is famous for its scenic beauty and

cool temperatures in summer season. Well connected by an all weathers road, these are the famous tourist resorts, equally popular in summer & winter. Bhurban, Patriata and Ayyubia are other attractions of the tour.

of history, culture and archaeology as the place was one of the most important parts of Gandhara Civilization. Visiting Saidu Sharif in lower, and Kalam in upper valley while an excursion to Mallam Jabba is another enchanting experience.

Kaghan Valley• An alpine & panoramic valley, Kaghan is the
