Form – arrangement of the words on the page
Lines – may or may not be sentences - lines separated into STANZAS
Sound – read out loud with rhyme, rhythm

Theme – the message - what the poem is about

*List all the types of poetry you know.
*Now get with a partner – discuss your lists and create one list together.
*Decide who is going to be the writer – when name is called come to the board and write one type of poetry that is not already on the board.
