possible. If you’re in need of public storage in Santa Monica, we can help! Here are a few packing and storage tips

to keep in mind before you move.

Inventory

Write up an inventory of all of your items, keeping them in a safe place at home.

Combustible

This includes paint thinner, solvents, paint, chemicals etc.

Never Store Anything

Place the items that you’ll need immediately in the front and the items you

might not need right away in the back.

Organize & Prioritize

Keep Items Tightly Sealed

This will ensure safety and security.

Be sure to wrap all glassware and dishes in tissue paper or another paper material.

Paintings, pictures, and mirrors should be wrapped in cardboard and marked "fragile".

Fragile Items

This will make it easier to stack boxes.(Boxes should be capable of holding

up to 25-30 pounds.)

Choose Boxes of Uniform Sizes

It’s important to stack lighter boxes on the top of larger, heavier boxes.

Stacking

They’re perfect for packing shovels, hoes, rakes, hoses, etc.

Utilize Empty Trash Cans

For example, furniture with drawers can be used as additional storage by placing smaller, fragile items inside.

Utilize Additional Storage

This will make the unpacking stage go more quickly and efficiently.

Label Boxes on All Sides
