What is Packet Tracer?
Packet Tracer is an interactive tool for learning the
basic operations of various networking devices at the
data link and network layer of the OSI model.
It is intended to teach beginning networking studentshow and why devices in a network work the way they
do.
A student using this simulation tool is able to build
their own computer networks, and observe the
behavior of data frames and packets as they traverse
through routers, switches, and other devices.

Why should I use Packet Tracer?
Packet Tracer will enhance the learning experience
of the students.
These interactive activities will help further explain
and reinforce the material learned in lectures or
online.
It is a powerful instructional tool that was adopted by
the Cisco Networking Academy to help instructorsteach the curriculum.

The instructor may easily integrate Packet Tracer into
