You are cordially invited to attend the third International Conference on Biomaterials and Medical Devices (BiomMedD'2008) to be held in Bucharest, Romania, November 13-16th, 2008. The event will also host the 7 th General Assembly of the Romanian Society for Biomaterials. The BiomMedD'2008 Conference venue will be University Politehnica of Bucharest, Romania. The Conference aims to bring together scientists, clinicians and manufacturers interested in fundamental and applied research in biomaterials and medical devices. The organizers expect participants representing medicine and materials science, physics, chemistry, mechanics and biology from universities, research institutions, hospitals and companies involved in biomaterials, tissue engineering and medical devices. Delegate ProfileThe main participants will be from the scientific community, as universities, research institutes, hospitals, manufacturers from surgery, dental, pharmaceuticals and bioengineering fields; which includes engineers, biologists, surgeons, physicians, dentists and other clinical personnel concerned with the application of biomaterials. A significant attendance is expected from the other biomaterials and medical societies in the Germany, Spain, Switzerland, Greece, Turkey, Portugal, UK, Italy and France. The congress was attended by more than 200 delegates from different countries.

The Technical ExhibitionThe Technical Exhibition will run in conjunction with the Conference and will attract widespread interest from participants and exhibitors. The Exhibition will run from Friday November 13th to Sunday November 16th in the exhibition place at the POLITEHNICA University of Bucharest.
