BrochureDescription:A two sided (oset) olding brochure

Program(s)/Tools:Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator

Objectives:Create a more appealing brochure or my amily’s business.

Process:I frst setup an oset brochure layout in Adobe InDesign. Once I did this I thenmoved to Adobe Illustrator where I created and brand new original logo. I createdto circles on-top o one another beore using the pen tool to create the curvedicing eect. This took me the longest to do, but once I was able to get the hango it, the logo turned out well. I then placed this logo in a larger size on the ronto my brochure and a smaller sized one on the back. I then transitioned over into

Adobe Photoshop where I took 3 images and cropped out portions o the photothat I wanted to use. All o my images were cropped in Photoshop except or thethree on the ar right o the brochure. Once I had the images cropped and readyto use I placed them in my InDesign project where I wanted them. Once placed, Iwrapped my text around two o my images, using the “alpha-channel” on the leinside part o my brochure.

Objectives:Create a logo or a fctional company in a color ormat, black & white ormat, anda white on color ormat.

Process:For this project I used the program Adobe Illustrator. Aer sketching a ewdierent dras, I made 3 dierent logos. I asked a variety o dierent peoplewhich one they liked the most and ultimately chose one to refne and edit orthis project. I refned and changed my color scheme as well as added more colorpadding around my text. I also created a gray-scale logo and a white on color one

as well.

Objectives:Create an eye appealing and creative business card or a inantphotography business.

Process:I frst designed a brand new logo in Adobe Illustrator. Aer which I openedAdobeInDesign where I placed my logo into a business card. I used the rectangletool and created two 3.5 x 2 rectangles. On the ront o the card, I le it whiteand simply just placed the logo in the center o the card. On the back I used thesame blue as the background and made the text the same shade o pink as the

logo. I continued with the circle theme and added white circles to separate thebusiness owners name rom all o her contact inormation.

Objectives:Create a un and unique leerhead or the same company as the buisness card.

Process:I frst designed a brand new logo in Adobe Illustrator. Aer which I openedAdobeInDesign where I placed my logo and went on to create a matchingleerhead. My frst page was the leerhead where I placed the logo in the top lecorner. I then incorporated the circle theme into the leerhead by adding a line ocircles with the same color scheme. In the top right section o the page, I had allo the contact ino or the business.

Letter Head



Description:A spiritual montage created in Photoshop using 3 images together with an over-lapping textured flter as well as the technique o typography.

Objectives:Create a spiritual and eye appealing montage or the audience.

Process:I frst started by creating an 8.5 x 11 document. I then dragged my main image oChrist into that document. I then added a texted flter overtop o that image andblended the picture o Christ into that using the brush tool with the opacity levelin between 10% and 50%. The next two steps, I dragged my other two imagesinto Photoshop using the lasso tool with the “eather” tool at 100% and then circledthe parts o the images that I wanted and moved them into my project document.

I continued to blend these in as well using the same brush tool with the opacitylevels varying the same as the frst image. When using the brush tool, I alwayshad the black brush. Finally when the image was blended enough I added sometext with two contrasting onts varying between dierent ont sizes.

Objectives:Show o on original logo an the process o creating a web page.

Process:Beore this project I had never worked with or created an HTML/CSS code.I used the program Notepad++ as well as a ree HTML and CSS validatoronline. Aer creating all o my word content and validated my code, I linkeda pre-designed CSS aachment. I then opened my logo in Photoshop to get theexact color codes that matched my logo where I put them in to the CSS sowareto create the background colors as well as the text colors.

Objectives:I wanted to be inormative when delivering this message, to let the audienceknow what the ier was all about.

Process:I started by coming up with 4 sketches o this design and chose the one I likedthe most. I then used Adobe InDesign or this design. I tired to ocus on alignmentas well as repetition on this project. You can see this with how my text align witheach other as well as my use o think black lines throughout the project.

Objectives:I wanted to catch the audience’s aention which is why I chose an image withbright colors. I put enough ino on the ier to get them inormed enough, but notoverwhelm them with inormation.

Process:For this Flier I used the program Microso Word. I was able to gain skills withWord’s design eatures as well as learn how to properly scan images or a highquality resolution.

Description:A demonstration o my personal photography and skills in editing as well as skills

in Photoshop design.

Objectives:I wanted to make a design that would capture the viewers aention and go alongwith the current month I was in at the time o the project.

Process:I frst started my process by choosing a good photo amongst quite a ew thatI had taken. I used a Canon T83 to shoot all o my photos. Photoshop was thenused to edit the photo where I adjusted the levels, vibrance, and saturation o thephoto. Once I did all o this, I decided on a color scheme and I originally c hose

monochromatic with the color brick however I late changed that to analagous asthe project continued orward. I then put my photo in an 8.5 x 11 layout addingcolors rom my color scheme and some text. I pulled my colors directly rom acolor wheel rom my class book using the eye drop tool and proceeded to usecircles as a design element to incorporate and label these colors into my design.
