My first attempt at college was a failure due to lack of effort.

Education was far from my top priority.

I was living in the present and ignoring my future.

Going out during the week lead to…

…not going to class.

…missed notes and assignments.

Missed notes and assignments lead to…

…failing final grades.

Once I felt like I already had missed too much, I completely gave up on all of my classes and…

I stopped attending COMPLETELY.

THE POSITION SHIFT

I noticed my mistake when I watched all of my friends graduate a couple of years later.

It made me upset but at the same time, it made me want to do it “the

right way” even more.

THE POSITION SHIFT

I started making things happen in the right direction.

Started classes at NKU and

boosted my GPA

Decided to switch my

major

Applied to and

transferred to UK

THE AFTER

I am finally back on track with four semesters completed “the right way.”

Proper prioritization is second nature to me now.

Now that I do want it for myself, I am making sure it happens.

It is still a position shift in

progress, but this time I have the right focus and motivation to complete it.
