Where circumstances require a pipe tee connector of lightweight aluminum alloy, the Type EHV APTP meets the most strenuous electrical and mechanical demands. All of the EHV APTP connectors have been de-signed to provide a corona free environment at 500KV, but can most certainly be used for lower voltage applications. All clamp-ing hardware is recessed and made of high tensile aluminum.
Cast of lightweight aluminum alloy, the Type EHV APTA adapts to situations requiring the junction of a pipe main to a tap whose angle varies from the perpendicular. These terminals are designed to provide a corona free environment at voltage levels up to 500KV. All clamping hardware is made of high tensile aluminum.
In ordering the Type EHV APTA tee connector, the varying angle must be written as a descriptor within the catalog number. A 15° angle tap for cata-log number 12-394-EHV, for example, should appear as 12-394-15-EHV.

CABLE TO GROUNDING STUD, BOLTED
Manufactured of a strong, lightweight aluminum alloy, the Type EHV ACGS joins an aluminum cable main to a grounding stud. Designed with recessed hardware, theses connectors provide corona free performance up to 500KV. For clamping strength and resistance to corrosion, bolts, nuts, and lockwashers are high tensile aluminum. To facili-tate installation, all bolt heads are recessed. Please specify the cable size when ordering.
Cast of a lightweight and corrosion-resistant aluminum alloy, the Type EHV WAT secures a pipe to a fl at bar bus more permanently and economi-cally than other terminal connectors. Center formed NEMA pads are stan-dard. Any special tongue features will be readily provided if designated by the addition of a descriptor to the catalog number. If, for example, a side-formed tongue were requested for catalog number 18-124-EHV, that number should appear on the order as 18-124-SF-EHV-W1S. Similarly, a 45 angle tongue for the same catalog number should be written 18-124-45-EHV-W0S. When ordering either the suffi x W0S (with no shield) or W1S (with one shield) must be used.
