Cast of a high conductivity aluminum alloy, the Type EHV AT was designed to eliminate corona when transitioning from a fl at terminal to a pipe. All hardware is recessed, and bolt heads are captivated to permit single-wrench installation. One hardware shield comes standard as it is cast into the part. Center formed NEMA pads are standard but side formed pads may be ordered by adding the descriptor “-SF-“. For example a center formed terminal connecting to a 3” pipe would be ex-pressed as “11-202-EHV” where as a side formed terminal connecting to a 3” pipe would be expressed as “11-202-SF-EHV”.

Where circumstances require a pipe tee connector of lightweight aluminum alloy, the Type EHV APTP meets the most strenuous electrical and mechanical demands. All of the EHV APTP connectors have been de-signed to provide a corona free environment at 500KV, but can most certainly be used for lower voltage applications. All clamp-ing hardware is recessed and made of high tensile aluminum.

Cast of lightweight aluminum alloy, the Type EHV APTA adapts to situations requiring the junction of a pipe main to a tap whose angle varies from the perpendicular. These terminals are designed to provide a corona free environment at voltage levels up to 500KV. All clamping hardware is made of high tensile aluminum.

In ordering the Type EHV APTA tee connector, the varying angle must be written as a descriptor within the catalog number. A 15° angle tap for cata-log number 12-394-EHV, for example, should appear as 12-394-15-EHV.

Made of a highly conductive aluminum alloy, corona free performance can be expected at up to 500KV. These conductors offer captivated bolt heads that permit single-wrench installation. Connecting a cable tap to the cable main can be accomplished with effi ciency and economy when the. Type EHV ATTC is em-ployed. Cast of a lightweight aluminum alloy, it includes bolts, nuts, and lockwashers made of high tensile aluminum for clamp-ing strength and resistance to wear. These connectors are designed for corona free performance at voltage levels up to 500KV. To facilitate single-wrench installation, all bolt heads are captivated.

Note: When placing an order, specifi c conductor size must be provided. For example a terminal for a 1431 AAC to 1272 AAC conductor should appear as “12-923-EHV(1431AAC-1272AAC)” while a terminal for a 1590 ACSR to 1590 ACSR conductor would appear as “12-929-EHV(1590ACSR-1590ACSR)”

The lightweight aluminum Type EHV ARPC2 which effi ciently joins two cables to a pipe features high strength aluminum clamping hardware and corona free performance at 345KV. A heavy duty connector, reliable and du-rable under conditions of electrical and environmental stress, it offers the added convenience of recessed bolt heads to facilitate single-wrench installation. Cast of a high conductivity, lightweight, and corrosion-resistant alu-minum alloy, it can be used in self-sup-porting A-frame structures and is capable of providing corona free performance up to 500KV. To insure maximum effi ciency in fi lling the order, the varying angles should be designated by means of a suffi x added to the catalog number. A 15 degree angle tap should be ordered as 18-342-15-EHV.

Connecting a bus to an insula-tor cap can be accomplished with ease and effi ciency using the Type EHV AFSS. A connector made of a lightweight aluminum alloy, it includes high strength aluminum clamping hardware for dependabil-ity and steel galvanized bolts and lockwashers for proper mounting to the insulator cap. Recessed bolt heads allow single wrench instal-lation and assist in the conductor’s corona free performance at 500KV.The base of the bus support has eight holes for rotation and angular adjustment. Another notable feature is the reversible bus support cap which permits either slip or tight-fi t applications.
