Flea Markets The times of the three Flea Markets are Friday from 11pm to Midnight, and both Saturday and Sunday from 2:00pm to 3pm. The Flea Markets have a charge of $25 per table for Friday and Saturday, and $20 for Sunday. You must be a Weekend Pass holder to sell at any Flea Market. Only one table per person over the entire weekend. There is no selling of anything new. Guidelines are available at the Registration Desk.

Special Guests: Luke Laurie, Darin Levilof, Alan Emrich We have three special guests at the show this year! Two local designers, Luke Laurie and Darin Levilof will be on hand throughout the weekend. You can find Luke running the Pacificon Protospiel, and Darin will likely be at the War Game Boot Camp trying out some great wargame! Alan Emrich is here demoing some great games from Victory Point Games, and is our guest speaker and auctioneer!

War Game Boot Camp Every year, Pacificon invites Karl Kreder and Tim Porter as our guests to run the very popular War Game Boot Camp, which demos and teaches folks a variety of new War Games every year! Working with Program Director John Wootress and Wargame Commander Mark Ruggiero, hundreds of game demos are played during the weekend, for which raffle tickets are given for each play. Our prize sponsors have generously given us games and magazines to give away to the participants! So come on down and learn to play a new game or two! The hours are Friday 4-10pm, Saturday 10am-10pm, and Sunday 10am-6pm. You’ll find them right in the heart of War Gaming, near the back of the California Ballroom!

Ultimate Werewolf “Extreme”

An evolution of the classic “social deduction” game Ultimate Werewolf, redesigned for a new experience with equal parts psychology, strategy, and logic. 8 to 19 players gather in a circle and each is randomly assigned a secret role card to learn their team and unique powers. Most players will be on the Villager team, but a few will be on the Werewolf team and hiding in plain sight. Over a series of rounds, players discuss and vote to eliminate players until only one team remains.

Paint ‘n Take Join accomplished painters David Howard and Joseph Riddle as they help attendees learn new techniques in painting figures for their gaming needs! All paint and sup-plies and figures are provided. This program is supported and sponsored by Viking Hobby in Sacramento and Zombiesmith.

Pacificon Protospiel Brought to us by the League of Game Designers and run by Luke Laurie, this special event is where you can have a chance to be part of the ever important playtest pro-cess and play games that have not yet been published! Just stop by anytime, and there will be games for folks to play. Also, this is a nice way to meet lots and lots of game designers as well, all eager to hear your feedback about their games!

South Bay Wargamers & Central Valley Wargamers We just want to give a nod of recognition to these two clubs. The South Bay War-gamers have been part of Pacificon from the beginning; this is very much *their* home convention. They always bring the best to battle on year after year. Take some time and wander around the hall and see the amazing paintjobs and terrain building. Better yet, join in and learn a new game and ask lots of questions. The Central Valley Wargamers bring huge over the top renditions of popular board games that are tons of fun. They add so much excitement to the Wargaming depart-ment, and the guys are all really great. So, thank you, to the both of you. Here’s to many more years together!

West Coast Board Game Championships Kevin and Tracy serve up the 14th iteration of the WCBC, where you can win a plaque suitable for hanging in your garage! This year’s games include Settlers of Catan, Puerto Rico, Acquire, Power Grid, Tigris and Euphrates, Dominion, and more! Sign up for these at the Board Game Library!

Vendor Hall We’ve got a full expanded Vendors’ Room at Pacificon this year, with lots of dealers bringing tons of things for you to see and buy at the show! The Vendors’ Room is open Friday from 4pm to 8pm, both Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 6pm, and Monday from 9am to 1pm. It is located in the California Ballroom in Salons 3 & 4.

Game Library

We have hundreds of games that we make available to borrow during the conven-tion. It’s a great way to try out a new game before deciding to make a purchase from one of our dealers in the hall. We always accept donations to the game library if you are looking for a way to let others continue to enjoy your old games. The Game Library is located next to Registration.
