At The Killara Golf Club, we host over 40 Corporate Golf Days a year, offering extensive experience in creating a successful and memorable day for you and your guests. Many of our corporate groups return annually. Our 18-hole golf course is one of Sydney’s premier golf courses and is kept in pristine condition all year round.
With tree lined undulating fairways, feature waterways, and picturesque views to the Blue Mountains, the course

The historic Clubhouse overlooking the course and manicured gardens exude charm and a classic ambience. The Lower
Bar is a central location for registration before golf and an informal gathering on arrival back to the Club House, with the

GOLF DAY INFORMATION
Availability and Start Options
Thursdays are made available at The Killara Golf Club for Corporate Golf Events.
We can accommodate groups of up to 140 on the course at any one time using a
shot-gun start, where all players tee off on different holes at the same time. Groups
of more than 60 players will be granted exclusivity of the course on the day.
Smaller groups have the option of a one tee start or a reduced shot-gun. Smaller
groups can often be accommodated on other days.
Co-ordinating Your Day
We have an experienced team of staff who can assist with all aspects of your
event to ensure your day is a success and frees you up to enjoy the day with your
guests.
The following services are offered as standard for all corporate day events:
• Planning of the day’s itinerary • Assistance with choice of event formats – Ambrose, Irish Four Ball Stableford
• Placement of signage around the course and collection at the end of the event • Greeting of guests on arrival
• Allocation of tee-off times and assistance with player registration and starting
• Assistance with selecting course competitions - Nearest to pin, Club

• Provision of golf score cards for all players and compilation of the winners list • Announcement of competition winners and presentation of prizes

Select from our Corporate Golf Day menu options or we can tailor a package to

where notice has been given in advance.
On Arrival
We offer a variety of catering options during guest arrival and player registration.
On Course
A Lunch Pack can be arranged to provide your guests with sustenance while out
on the golf course.
A Drinks Cart and Driver are available for hire for the distribution of snacks and
refreshments on the golf course at $200 for a four hour period.
The Killara Golf Club’s half-way house, the Bush Bar, can also be utilised and
manned for the service of food and drinks at an opening fee of $150 for a four
hour period.
Lunch and Dinner Menu Options
We have a wide range of menu options, from post-golf canapés or Chef-cooked
BBQ, to a plated three course meal or a gourmet buffet.

Fairweather, aim to make the day as enjoyable as possible for all guests,
regardless of their golfing ability.
Golf Teaching and Playing Services
Adding a Golf Professional to your day is a great experience for all players
whether it is a short teaching clinic prior to tee off or playing on the course with
each team. This gives an added experience of seeing some great shots and
learning some valuable swing tips.
Company Branding and Prizes
As experts in the golf industry, the Killara Golf Club Professionals are able to
organise a large array of company branded accessories and golf equipment from
numerous suppliers. The Pro Shop is always stocked with quality equipment for
those last minute prizes, including golf balls, hats, shirts, gloves, towels, tee packs
and umbrellas. Vouchers for the Pro Shop are also available to a value of your
choosing.

CORPORATE GOLF DAY - TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These provisions are for your benefit as a client of The Killara Golf Club and to help you organise the best event
possible.
Confirmation of Booking
To confirm your booking we require a deposit of $1,000 (credited towards the final account) and a signed copy of the
Terms and Conditions.
If the deposit and signed Terms and Conditions are not received within 14 days of a tentative booking being placed,
Killara Golf Club reserves the right to release the booking.
Terms of Payment
Estimated numbers for golfers and catering must be provided to us 14 days before the event to enable time sheet
organisation and catering and staffing arrangements. Final numbers must be provided to us 7 days before the event,
and we will then issue an invoice to you for the balance of the event cost, which must be paid 3 days before the event.
The final numbers will form the basis of the catering charges, even if the actual number of attendees is less than this
number.
Any late charges including, if applicable, the cost of extra beverages, must be paid in full prior to departure at the end
of your event.
Payment can be made by Visa or MasterCard (merchant fees of 1.5% apply), cash or electronic funds transfer.
Cancellation
If you cancel your booking, a cancellation fee will be payable as follows:
• Cancellation more than 3 months in advance for Summer and Winter dates, and more than 6 months in advance for
Spring and Autumn dates, no cancellation fee, and your deposit will be returned. The booking deposit can be
transferred to another available date should you wish to reschedule.
• Cancellation later than the time referred to above, but more than 30 days prior to the date of the event, your deposit
will be applied as a cancellation fee.
• Cancellation within 30 days of the event, a cancellation fee equivalent of 50% of the total green fees chargeable on
the initial numbers provided on confirmation of booking.
• Cancancellation within 7 days of the event, a cancellation fee equivalent to 100% of the total green fees chargeable
on the initial numbers provided on confirmation of booking or any higher number subsequently notified, together with
50% of the estimated catering price (see below) will be payable.
The estimated catering price includes all catering and beverage packages, and any decorating, entertainment or other
charges for goods or services arranged for the event at your request.
Cancellations must be notified or confirmed to the Club in writing (which may be by email), and the date of
cancellation for these purposes will be the date such written notification is received by the Club.
Food and Beverages
Beverage lists are subject to revision without notice.
Food and beverage prices are valid from 1st January 2012 to 31st December 2013. However, in the event of increases
in the cost of labour and/or food and beverages, Killara Golf Club reserves the right to make price adjustments to
cover such increases, but any such increases will not exceed 5%.
If your event arrangements include a meal, please advise details of any guests with food allergies when confirming final
numbers. If any relevant allergen is to be used in any of the food prepared for that meal, we will take reasonable steps

Damage, Decorations and Displays
Killara Golf Club has a heritage listed clubhouse which provides a wonderful setting for your event. It is important that
this great setting is cared for and respected by all clients using the Club.
The organiser of any event or function at Killara Golf Club is responsible for any loss or damage sustained at the Club
during that event or function.
Nothing may be nailed, screwed or adhered in any way to any wall, door or other part of the Clubhouse.
Killara Golf Club takes every possible care, but accepts no responsibility for damage to, or loss of, vehicles, personal
belongings or other property brought onto the Club’s premises prior to, during or after any function or event.
Corporate Golf – Golf Day Event Sheet
Upon confirmation of your booking, we would encourage you to arrange a meeting with our Events Manager to discuss
your event. This will enable us to assist you to plan and organise the event in the best manner to achieve your goals
and to ensure that the event runs as smoothly as possible. We will forward a Golf Day Event Sheet following this initial
meeting.
This sheet sets out all the aspects of the day and is designed to prompt questions or information that you may require to
ensure a successful day. Should you require further information on any aspect within the Golf Day Event Sheet, please
contact the Events Manager.
Corporate Golf - Dress Standards
It is the responsibility of the organiser to advise all guests of the dress regulations. We suggest that you place the
information below in your invitations. Failure to meet our dress requirements could result in your guests being unable to
access the golf course and facilities, or incurring the cost of acquiring suitable attire from the Professional’s Shop.
All players must be neatly dressed including:
• Collared shirts and tailored trousers or shorts
• Denim jeans and Cargo Shorts/Pants are not permitted
• Running/Jogging shoes are not permitted
• Short socks must be plain white or plain white with a golf club logo (these socks are available from the Pro Shop).
Corporate Golf – Signage and Banners
Advertising banners and signs that you would like to have placed on the course or in the clubhouse must have prior
approval from the Event Manager. Killara Golf Club will erect all approved banners and signs.
Delivery of signage at least 1 day before your event would be appreciated.

CORPORATE GOLF DAY - TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Corporate Golf – Wet Weather
Golf is a sport that can be played in inclement weather and play will continue rain or shine. Killara Golf Course boasts
excellent drainage capabilities and is rarely closed. Only if weather conditions put the players at risk of danger (i.e.

Should the course be closed to carts on the day of your event, any costs incurred by the Club for the hire of additional
carts on these days remains your responsibility.
Corporate Golf – Group Sizes and Availability
Killara Golf Club can accommodate groups of all sizes with a variety of starting options. Groups of 50 players or fewer
are not guaranteed exclusivity on the golf course on the day of the booking. The Killara Golf Club reserves the right to
accommodate other groups on the golf course as required.
The course opens for corporate golf play from 10am every Thursday.
Smoking
Smoking is prohibited within the Clubhouse. Smoking is permitted on the balcony or other outdoor areas.
Responsible Service of Alcohol
In accordance with the provisions of applicable legislation, Killara Golf Club adopts a policy of the responsible service
of alcohol. This policy requires that alcohol must not be served to guests who are intoxicated or to under age guests.
If, during the course of your event, the management of Killara Golf Club (which for this purpose includes staff members
responsible for the supervision of the event) is of the opinion that a guest has, or guests have, become intoxicated, the
Club reserves the right to suspend service of alcohol to those persons, and/or require them to leave the premises of the
Club. If this occurs, you will be informed immediately, and your assistance is expected to ensure the minimum of
disruption to your event and the enjoyment of other guests.
Parking
Free vehicle parking is available at the Clubhouse, with access from the Pacific Highway, and at the 9 th tee, with access
from Fiddens Wharf Road. The Club will not accept responsibility for any damage to vehicles in the Club’s car parks.
Mobile Phones
THE USE OF MOBILE PHONES IS PERMITTED ONLY IN THE CLUB’S CAR PARKS AND LOCKERS ROOMS. IT IS THE
RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CLIENT TO ENSURE THAT ALL PLAYERS AND OTHER ATTENDEES ARE AWARE OF THIS

GETTING TO KILLARA GOLF CLUB AND PARKING
By Car
Directions travelling North:
After the Killara Inn you will pass Fiddens Wharf Road, on the left. Approx.
200m later, you will notice signage for Noodle Blast Restaurant, the entrance to
Killara Golf Club is a residential driveway located immediately after the
restaurant.
Directions travelling South:
After the Greengate Hotel, Killara, take the first legal right hand turn into Fiddens
Wharf Road. About 150m down Fiddens Wharf Rd is a round-about that allows
you to do a U-turn to turn left onto Pacific Highway. The entrance to Killara Golf
Club is a residential driveway off the Pacific Highway and is located immediately
after the Noodle Blast Restaurant.
Parking:
Parking is available in the Club’s guest car park on the left of the driveway. If
full, street parking is an alternative, but please note the Western side (the Club
side) of street parking is an alternative, but please note the Western side (the
Club side) of the Pacific Highway becomes a ‘clearway’ after 3 pm Monday -
Friday.
By Train
Alight at Killara station and turn right at the top of the station stairs, you will be
in Culworth Ave. Turn left at Culworth Ave and approx. 50m later turn right into
Marian Street. Walk to the end of Marian Street, approx. 400m to where it
meets the Pacific Highway. Using the pedestrian crossing at the lights, cross the
Highway and turn left. Walk approx. 300m and the entrance to the Killara Golf
Club will be noticed, as will the pathway through the garden to the Clubhouse.

A dedicated phone with a direct line to Taxis is available on Level One.
