Ok, let’s get started.Step 1: Check your equipment
• You need an internet connection.• You need a good pair of headphones.
• Your computer must meet the minimum system requirements. To check these, click here: system requirements. Then, click on ‘automatic system check’.

Step 2: Help your child to sign in
• Go to the Oxford Placement Test for Young Learners, and enter the information that was sent to you by email.• Click ‘Sign in’.

Step 3: Help your child confirm their details
• Confirm that their name is correct.
(If it is not correct, please email their teacher. Your child can still continue to take their test, the teacher can update their name later.)

• Click ‘Press the button to hear the sound’.
• Choose to continue

• Click ‘Start Test’. (You do not have to wait to hear from their teacher.)

Step 6: Take the test
The test will open in a new window. Your child should follow the instructions and answer all the questions on their own.
(A message on the screen will let your child know when they have 15 minutes left.)
