Vermilion County Health Department (VCHD) re- ported 114 new Covid cases on October 1, including one each in their 90s, 80s and 70s, six in their 60s, 16 in their 50s, 11 in their 40s, 12 in their 30s, 13 in their 20s, 28 teens, 16 grade-school-aged children, three pre-schoolers, two toddlers, and four infants. Ninety- three people were released, which brings a cumulative total of 13,074 positive cases since the pandemic be- gan. Public Health Administrator Doug Toole announced two COVID-related deaths: a man in his 60s, and a woman in her 20s. Vermilion County has had 190 Covid-related deaths since the pandemics onset.
