‘’OVID Programme Recipient’’ are companies that share OCIMF’s concerns for marine safety and pollution prevention and charter offshore vessels in support of their operations or have offshore vessels operating at their facilities. May not be involved in the hydrocarbon industry and may or may not be a DoC holder of an offshore vessel.
1) A Technical Vessel Operator (TVO) seeking to have an OVID inspection completed enters the vessel details, requested date and location of inspection into the OOVR. Once submitted, notification will be sent to the OCIMF OVID Members designated representative that an inspection request has been received. Any OCIMF OVID Member can pick up the details and commission the inspection.
2) An OVID Programme Recipient requesting an inspection on a vessel will require the TVO of that vessel to give their approval. This will be done thru the OOVR prior to the notification being sent to OCIMF OVID Members.

• OVID Inspector will receive automatic emails advising them that their accreditation is expiring and they need to attend a Refresher Course
o First email expiry date minus 365 days o Second email expiry date minus 180 days o Third and last email expiry date minus 90 days.
• Failure to attend a refresher course will result in account being suspended

• OVIQ downloaded identification
o Details will be watermarked on the OVIQ when it is downloaded o Details include time, date and company name that downloaded the report This includes when a vessel/unit operator downloads their own report
• Email notification of OVIQ download o Automatic email notification advising a daily summary the OVIQs that were
downloaded by the OCIMF Membership o Vessel/Unit operators can chose whether or not to receive these emails
