Overview

The Conference is specifically targeted at process engineers, technical managers, and product design engineers in the medical-device industry, as well as processors already in the plastics-conversion industry wishing to find out more about supplying into the medical-device industry.

The Conference will be a three-day event including: •Training Workshops•Keynote Address•Parallel Technical Sessions •Technical Poster Presentations•Exhibition

Throughout the Conference, delegates can also view the many pilot-plant processing and analysis facilities in the Polymer Processing and Medical Polymers Research Centres at the University.

The Agenda

• A range of Training seminars will be held on Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning, at the Northern Ireland Technology Centre (NITC) situated on the Ashby Campus at Queen’s University.

• Delegate registration for the Conference will be on Wednesday, Sept 8, from 10.30 am at the Wellington Park Hotel.

• Presentations by Keynote Speakers (following lunch) at 2.00 pm.

• A Conference Dinner will be held on Wednesday night at the same venue.

• Parallel Technical Sessions and Poster Sessions will be held on Thursday, Sept 9, from 9.00 am onwards.

• The Exhibition will take place on Wednesday and Thursday.
