funded small business assistance program in the nation 2/25/2015

by the NC General Assembly SBCs are hosted by NC Community Colleges
Some SBCs have multiple sites or satellite offices 60+ offices
state-wide SBCs purposively focus on entrepreneurship &
economic development There is a SBC within a 30 minute drive of
every NC resident 100% State funded through NC Legislature ($6.1M
FY2013-2014) Funding represents an investment of $2,117 per job

create startups, assist troubled businesses & create/retain
jobs All services are FREE Confidential One-on-One Counseling

mission of the JSCC SBC is to increase the success rate &
number of viable small businesses in Duplin County & the
surrounding areas by providing high quality, readily accessible
assistance to prospective & existing small business owners,
