About Us
IMS is an AS9100/ISO Certified, Women and Minority Owned Small Business that specializes in the research, analysis, processing of metals, and delivery of hard to find exotic materials. Our goal is to change how metal and materials is bought throughout the world through increasing client productivity and operational efficiencies.
Since 2009, we’ve prided ourselves on our commitment to consistently deliver high quality,
hard to find, and exotic materials to our customers. Not only do we provide the material for your
critical parts, but can also facilitate any processes to customize material ‘part prep’ before machining
to minimize overall cost, reduce lead time and increase resource utilization for our customer’s supply
chain. Our innovative company is unique because we also work closely with, and often assist in our
customers’ research & development, by allowing them to use our equipment to learn, prototype, and
test out their experiments with fast turn around results to garner innovation awareness and loyalty
in the scientific community. At IMS we treat each of our customers like family (along with open
transparency, surveys and investigations on issues) to maintain customer loyalty.

Companies
We stand out from other processers and distributors because we are flexible to adapting to the needs of our customer.
• We have designed our facility in order to bring lengthy processing in-house to cater to customers with critical lead time and
controlled quality.
• We are able to control cost by investing in the processes that matters to you.
• We improve lead time by shortening the supply chain from raw material to ‘part prep’ ready material.

Key Performance & Achievements
• (2012) International Metal Source was certified in 2012 for ISO 9001:2008 and AS9100 Rev.C, meeting the all requirements
of AS9104/1:2012. IMS had maintained their certification in a good track ever since.
• (2014) IMS received their first customer award for continued ‘On-Time Delivery and Non-Rejection’ from The Marvin Group
on June 2014. This achievement illustrated the significance of IMS’ role in commerce as a leading solution provider.
• (2015-2016) In order to meet the ever increasing demand of their customers, IMS relocated to a much larger 5000 sq. ft
facility in Cerritos, California from a 1900 sq. ft facility. This allows not only more storage space, but also enables them to
address customers cries for faster lead times by bringing many services in-house.
• (2016) IMS received a 3 year contract to assist and produce the building of the 900 satellites of the OneWeb constellation,
which will offer high-speed internet with global coverage.
• (2017) IMS was audited by, and became a qualified raw material supplier for, Space Exploration Technologies (SpaceX) on
January 2014 and May 2017. SpaceX recognized IMS' top-notch quality management, company standards, risk mitigation,
supply chain process and effectiveness.
International Metal Source a 90% On-Time Delivery and Less than 1% Rejection or Non-Conformance Reports for all Orders.
