I sure miss everyone and look forward to seeing you this coming Sunday. However, we have had a very successful trip in Ghana. We have now been able to hold classes for 4 full days and everything is going well. Obviously, there are always a few growing pains and issues we have to work through but God continues to bless our new work for Him. We really appreciate all of your love, encouragement and prayers. Without you all it would be very difficult to make trips such as this. The students are now in their first quarter. They are coving the same courses we cover at the BIM. The first quarter always deals with very fundamental classes like Bible Geography, Genesis, O.T. and N.T. Survey, Life of Christ, The Preacher and His Word, and English. Brent and I got the classes off to a good start by teaching them all between the two of us. However, now our African brothers have taken over the teaching of the classes. We look forward to hearing brother Williams and brother James teach their classes tomorrow. At this time, we have 5 students enrolled. We had hoped to have closer to ten and we may still have a few more join by the end of this week. However, this is still a good start for a new school. No doubt, after our first two years and our first class graduating, we will have plenty of men who want to come and be trained. In fact, some are already expressing an interest in being involved in future classes. Also, sometimes it is better to start with a lower number anyway, so that we can work out all the problems, concerns and get through the growing pains, before we invite 15 or so at one time. When you open a school like this and start with more, it is like taking on a new responsibility and learning experience with each new man. That is not so bad when you know what you doing, but when you are new to running a full-time school it helps to have a few less to deal with. Our new students are brother Amos, Alex, Henry, Stephen and Akwasi. I will give you more information about these men when I give a report after getting home. But one of the most exciting students is Amos. He is a 70 year old man who wants to come and be trained to preach the Word of God. He has been a teacher most of his life. He is a fine man and says that he wants to die with a Bible in his hand. What a great encouragement he is to me! I hope you all have a great mid-week service tonight. Again, I look forward to seeing you this Lord’s day for Worship. Please keep Brent and me in your prayers as we begin the journey home on Thursday. Lord willing, we are scheduled to arrive in Springfield around 5:30 Friday night. I love you all and look forward to seeing you soon. God bless! *Ray Sullins*

“…let us draw near with a sincere heart
in full assurance of faith,
having our hearts sprinkled clean
from an evil conscience
and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the confession
of our hope without wavering,
for He who promised is faithful…” Hebrews 10: 22-23
