An auction is a sale for which the Sellers consider bids only for a CERTAIN LENGTH OF TIME.Buyers PLACE BIDS until the end of the bidding

period. At the end of the auction, if the highest bid meets or exceeds the reserve price

(lowest acceptable price) set by the Seller, it becomes the WINNING BID.
