distractions but surrounded by fabulous landscapes and great people

• Blackton Grange• 4 miles north west of Romaldkirk • On the shore of Balderhead reservoir.• Owned by First Ascent• “DO NOT USE SAT NAV FOR DIRECTIONS AS YOU WILL END UP ON THE

Outdoor –Ambition ltd
The programme has been designed around groups of 20 pupils and 2/3 School support staff per weekend. Outdoor-Ambition will provide 3/4 group activity instructors (and any other staff that are required to ensure the safety ratios at maintained) and 1 programme coordinator. Their primary role will be to ensure all the safety criteria are maintained.
Programme
• Preliminary residential site and activities risk assessments are already in place. They will be finalised immediately prior to the visit to take into account anticipated weather conditions.
• Kit list – common sense! Assume it will be cold and wet – especially Friday!
• Rough ready and warm during the day..• Cleaner, tidier and drier for dinner.• Outdoor and indoor shoes.

• Cost £140.• Inc: accommodation, meals, activities,
instructors, transport and entrance fees.• £30 by Parentpay on or before 30th April• Final payment by 12th June 2014

• Only all current Year 6 Staffing – 3 per visit plus 3 instructors.
What else?
• Medicines –medicines and form brought in on the Friday morning .
• Spending money –not needed –there are no shops anywhere!
• Emergencies and contacts – indemnity form.• Contact numbers• Final briefing the week before we go .
What Now?
• It will go quiet until after SATs week.• As far as possible please do not restrict the
dates you can go. • Please indicate – basic dietary needs • : nut allergy, but especially if vegetarian, or
religious observance needs.
