Craig Tansley (Freelance travel writer for The Age and The Sydney Morning Herald), Amber Ledsam (writer for mX), Quentin Long (International traveller Magazine) and Frances Kindon (OK! Magazine) were accompanied on the road less travelled by Sigatoka River Safari’s Managing Director, Jay Whyte. “How cool was the ATV ride up?! I loved it!” said Quentin. “This whole trip was amazing! Wish we were here for longer. It’s an experience we will never forget,” he added. After visiting Fiji’s largest cave system, the journalists then took a dip in the nearby swimming hole and then took another dip after their BBQ lunch. The group visited Fiji compliments of Air Pacific and stayed at the Shangri-La Fijian Resort & Spa on the Coral Coast and were also at Koko’s Bar in Korotogo. Like all journalists he has travelled the world but it was his first time to Fiji so he was quite happy to have included a trip up into the interior.
