Our villa..

Hello From Turkey,We live in a small village in

Armutlu, Yalova.We want to introduce our vilage and school to you.

Our village Fıstıklı is in Armutlu, Yalova. It is in

the north west of Turkey.

Fıstıklı is at the sea side. It has beautiful beaches.

People grow olives aand produce olive oil. You can eat natural olives in our village.

People catch fish. Most of fathers are fishermen.

This is a part of our port.

Our School

• Now are you ready? We are going to our school.

• It is the only school in the village. We are about 150 students and 15 teachers in it.

• It has three buildings; eight classrooms, a library, a computer room and a lunch room. Our school is small. We need a big and modern school. But we are happy in it.

This is the oldest building. 1st, 2nd and 3rd grades are here.

These buildings are new. In the small one there are two classes.

You see it is breaktime.

Our Lessons

• We have 30 lessons a week. 6 lessons a day. School begins at 9.00 a.m. And finishes at 3.00 p.m.

In the 4th and 5th grades we have 3 English lessons and in the 6th, 7th and 8th grades 5 English lessons a week.

We have Turkish, maths, science, social sciences, art, music, PE, moral and religion lessons.

We have fun too.We celebrate certain days. We have parties.

We go for a picnic.

We celebrate Republic Day.(Children’s Day and Youth Day)

Atatürk is the founder of Turkish Republic. He is the father of

Turks.

We act some plays. This play is about soldiers.

We celebrate the coming of spring. It is called Nevruz.
