ALS Industrial primarily serves the Energy, Resources and Infrastructure sectors; and manufacturers of plant and machinery. Industrial provides Non Destructive Testing (NDT) & Inspection, Integrated Condition Monitoring, Materials Engineering Consulting, Mechanical Testing, Asset Management, Heat Treatment and Shutdown Planning & Execution Services to asset owners, operators, constructors and contractors in the Power, Oil & Gas / Petrochemical, Minerals Processing, Mining & Materials Handling and Water & Infrastructure industries.
ALS Tribology has provided independent oil, coolant, and fuel analysis since 1983 in Australia and Asia. In North America, ALS Tribology has provided services since 1961, most recently under the Staveley Services Fluids Analysis brand. Today, ALS Tribology operates in Australia, Asia, North America, South America, Africa, and Europe. As a provider of lubricant trending analysis for operating equipment, ALS is able to monitor both the health of equipment and in-service lubricants. Through in-service lubricant testing, the ALS goal is to protect assets and minimize operating downtime.

The food laboratory provides analyses for general food stuffs, commodities, health supplements, Chinese medicines and cosmetic products. Clients include government bodies, food importers and exporters, manufacturers and the general public.
The laboratory is equipped with state-of-the-art instrumentation; LCMSMS, HPLC, GCMS, ICPOES, ICPMS and real time PCR. The laboratory offers microbiological and chemical services as well as packaging materials migration testing.
