Welcome to Week 10 of Term 3. Recognition and Thanks As Term 3 and my time at Greenwich PS draws to an end, I would like to take the opportunity to say thank you to the students, staff and parents for a wonderful 7 weeks at your school. Thank you to all the students for your perseverance and resilience in dealing with the challenges you have faced in both learning and the playground this term. It was a pleasure to be part of the Recognition Assembly this week and formally celebrate the many successes of students this term. Thank you to the amazing teachers and staff for your untiring commitment to the teaching and wellbeing of students. And finally, thank you to the many parents who I have had the pleasure of meeting and working with. I am grateful to have been such a welcomed visitor into the Greenwich Public School community this term. Are you returning in 2020? School Clean Up - Friday 27 September The core values that underpin the positive and proactive PBEL system at Greenwich PS are Respect, Responsibility and Success. We encourage students to consider these values in their actions and decision making, both individually and collectively. On Friday we will be asking students to think about what these values look like in relation to our school environment, then putting them into action with a whole school clean up before the end of the day! Students will be tidying their learning spaces and playgrounds, including collecting lost property and rubbish, so students are welcome to bring a pair of kitchen or gardening gloves if they wish. splattered mural, the ‘Great Aussie Bush Camp’,
Education Week and our excursion to Darling
Harbour, Term 3 will be hard to beat.
