She is also asking for prayers for her husbands daughter, Sara, who is in Regional Hospital with Covid. She has been there for about one week already. Joretta Roloff thanks everyone who prayed for her the last few weeks. The reports she received recently were all good! The Ladies Bible Class will begin meeting again on September 7. We will gather at MCL at 11:00 a.m. for lunch and a devotional. On September 21, we will be studying Lesson 10, Days 1 and 2, from the workbook Women Opening the Word: Impossible,by Casandra Martin. We plan to finish this book before starting on another curriculum. The class meets each month on the first and third Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. at Eastside. All ladies are welcome! The Wabash Valley Christian Bowling League is looking for new teams for fun and fellowship each Tuesday starting on September 14. They meet at 7:00 p.m. at Vigo Bowl in Terre Haute. The cost is $12 per person per week, which includes three games and shoe rental. Please contact Tracy Sutliff to register a team of four by August 31: [email protected], or call 812-466-6766. Starting in September, we will be scheduling greeters to hand out the bulletins, as well as someone to work at the Guest Connection desk. The schedule will be made enlisting people who have volunteered for these positions in the past. If you would rather not be put on the schedule for this, or if you would like your name added to the volunteer list, please let Jennifer know by e-mailing or calling the office: [email protected], or 812-235-9322.

Prayer List, continued

Martha Elmore - please pray for her continued

healing. She is also asking for prayers for her

Prayer List

Melissa Cayton is still experiencing serious heart

issues, including a small heart attack. Please pray for

healing and comfort.

Tim Davis recently had a lung transplant. Praise! The

transplant was a success and he is doing well.

Judy Givens is home now and has “good days and bad

days” according to Dennis. Please pray for her continued

recovery, and for Dennis as well.

Leah Murphy – please pray that she can overcome

challenges and will be able to complete school. Please

also pray for peace. (Submitted by Amy Romans.)

Bill Weatherholt, Anna Nightingale’s grandfather, is

refusing treatment for several health issues and is very ill.

Katie Hersh, Anna Nightingale’s grandmother, is

very ill and does not have long to live. Please pray for

her entire family.

Mason Chesser is doing much better and is “eating

like a champ!” He is calm and peaceful. Thanks so much

for your prayers!

The Minton family - Scott, Staci, Isaac, and Sarah

Minton have all tested positive for Covid. Please pray for

a full recovery. Mary Baldwin will be having surgery soon to remove

kidney stones.

Kegan Knust is just in his early 30s and has been

diagnosed with histoplasmosis and cirrhosis of the lungs.

Since Kegan is a farmer, this will really change his life.
