LaGrone, Pastor of Reid Memorial CME Church, Greensboro, NC. Men are asked to give $100.00 and wom- en are asked to support the brothers and give $50.00. UMBA ANNUAL SESSION “Living At the Next Level” Claiming the Promise of Change The United Missionary Baptist Assoc. Annual Session will be held Monday, September 26 thru Thursday, September 29 at the Park Church from 6:45pm until 8:30pm. Classes for all ages will start Wednesday night. Our own Pastor-Elect, Dr. Robert C. Scott will preach for the closing session on Thursday night at 8:00pm. St. Paul’s choirs have been asked to render the music. Everyone is invited come out and show your support. The church is located at 6029 Beatties Ford Road, Charlotte, NC 28216. Directions will be available upon request. VISITORS AND FRIENDS BABY DEDICATION Baby Dedication will be held on Sunday, October 16, 2016 during 10:30 am wor- ship service. All parents dedicating their children must complete a Baby Dedica- tion Form, submit a photo of their child, and attend a workshop. Forms should be returned to the HOST table, church office or emailed to the address below no later than October 7, 2016. All photos can be emailed or texted to 980-213-7507, please identify with child’s name. The required workshop will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2016 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall. The large church parking lot bordered by Allen St., 17 th St.,Pegram St., and 16 th St. will be unavailable for parking on the 1 st and 2 nd Sundays in October (October 4 th & 11 th ) due to construc- tion. The lot will come back “on-line” for parking on October 15 th . While the lot is closed, on-street park- ing & Hawthorne High School can be utilized for parking during the 10:30 am service. The church vans and bus will be used to shuttle persons between Hawthorne High School and the 18 th Street side of the Main Sanctuary, be- ginning at 9:30 am and directly after service. 18 th Street will serve as the drop-off and pick-up point for persons utilizing the shuttle service. PROSTATE CANCER AWARENESS On this day as we celebrate Men’s Day, we would like to acknowledge Prostate Can- cer awareness Day for all men who are victims of the disease. The Medical Team has blue ribbons for members/visitors to commemorate the day. CHURCH ADMINISTRATOR POSITION St. Paul Baptist Church is looking for a motivated and qualified person to join our staff. Your active faith and church commitment will be vital in supporting our mission. We expect our successful candidate to be able to problem solve, learn, operate with flexibility and manage tasks simultane- ously with a high attention to detail. We will rely on our candidate to have admin- istrative responsibility while working with staff, leaders and volunteers. The position has responsibility for admin- istrative operations, financial manage- ment, and payroll processing, policies and procedures, church finance, bookkeeping and technology support. Full-Time: 40 hours per week, Monday- Friday. Skills and Qualifications: 2-5 years of experience (or equivalent) with office financial and accounting procedures and working knowledge of Microsoft Office, QuickBooks and web based programs.
