Parish Advent Penance Service

We will have a Parish Advent Penance Service on Wednesday, December 4 at 6:30 PM in the Church. The Sacrament of Penance is an excellent way of preparing our hearts for the coming of Christ in glory. Confessions will be heard in English and Spanish.

Our Lady of Guadalupe The OLMC community is invited to take part in the celebration of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Envelopes will be placed on the church benches for flower donations for the Feast Day of Our Lady of Guadalupe and can be left in the donation box in back of the church. The celebration will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2013. Mañanitas and Mass Celebration at 12:00 AM (midnight). Rosary, Apparitions and Mass beginning at 6:00 PM.

New Generation Seniors Sponsor Trip The new Generation seniors are going to Mt. Rushmore in May of 2014. This will be a fun and affordable nine-day trip aboard a motorcoach that has video and restroom. The cost if $679. for double occupancy and $929. for single. OLMC School News OLMC School Gives Thanks The OLMC School community had the opportunity to get together on Tuesday for our annual Thanksgiving Brunch. This year students enjoyed a traditional Thanksgiving dinner menu while eating with classmates, teachers, parents, family members and parish staff. This year OLMC School gives thanks for the amazing support of our parish, which along with the efforts of many has permitted OLMC School to grow substantially over these past three years. We at OLMC School are thankful for each and every one of you, as you make our mission possible! For those with children, grandchildren or other family members in grades PK3-8th grade, we encourage you to consider our school for the 2014-15 academic year. School tours are available year round. Additionally, we are accepting applications for students to enroll at OLMC School to start classes in January! Thank you! You are Invited: Breakfast with St. Nicholas! The Our Lady of Mt. Carmel School PTO would like to extend its invitation to each and every one of you for the annual Breakfast with St. Nicholas. The breakfast will take place on Saturday December 7th, 2013 from 8:00am to 12:00pm in the Parish Hall. In preparation for Christmas, all school families, parish families, seniors and members of our community are invited to come enjoy a delicious breakfast to benefit our school's PTO. Este año los estudiantes disfrutaron de un menú tradicional para la cena de Acción de Gracias, que disfrutaron con sus compañeros, profesores, padres, familiares y personal de la parroquia. Christmas Flowers Collection Although titled “Christmas Flowers,” this annual special collection covers the costs for our decorations for both the Advent and Christmas season. It will be taken up at all the Masses next weekend. Donations are usually given in memory of someone whose name is included on a list of memorials inserted into the Christmas bulletin.

Colecta de Flores para Navidad Aunque está titulada “Flores de Navidad,” ésta colecta especial de cada año cubre los costos de nuestras decoraciones para el tiempo de Adviento y de Navidad.
