Dear parishioners and friends: Thank you, Father Wilson and Father John I am sad to report to you that Father Wilson and Father John have been reassigned by Bishop Sullivan and will begin serving in new parishes on July 1st. After over 8 years of service to our community, Father Wilson was transferred and will be the Hospital Chaplain at the Inspira Hospitals in Vineland in Elmer and will also serve as a part-time Parochial Vicar at Christ the Good Shepherd Parish in Vineland. Father Wilson worked tirelessly in his ministry to the sick. He visited and anointed thousands of people in our community and brought his gentle and compassionate ministry to families in need.

Father John has been appointed as

Parochial Vicar at St. Gianna Beretta Molla Parish in Northfield, Part Time Parochial Vicar for Hispanic Ministry at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Galloway and Part Time Chaplain at Saint Andrew Kim Korean Catholic Mission in Absecon. Father John was only with us for 1 year but we will miss his presence and smile. Father worked very hard to learn and perfect his English and made great strides in his year with us. He enjoyed his year with us and loved helping the St. Vincent de Paul Society and visiting homebound parishioners.

I join our clergy, staff, and all of you in

thanking Father Wilson and Father John for saying “yes” to the call to priesthood and for their dedication to the people of our parish. We promise them our prayers and offer them our gratitude and love.

the Assumption of Our Lady.

Knights of Columbus Holy Family #7800 is having a Burger21 Day!

The date is Monday June 26. All proceeds from this event goes towards various K of C #7800 charities and programs.

As always the Knights of Columbus #7800 want to thank the parish for their generous support. Burger21 is located in the Voorhees Town Center.

The Knights of Columbus Nativity Council and the Respect for Life Ministry would like to thank the Our Lady Of Guadalupe Parish ,for once again being so generous and providing both diapers and wipes for our Mother's Day collection. Sr. Helen appreciated our continued support, for her ministry at the Guadalupe Family Services in Camden, NJ. As you know, this ministry provides assistance to mothers who wish to keep their babies rather than getting abortions.

The collection amounted to 4485 diapers and 7672 wipes.

As a reminder, the Knights continue to collect glasses for those in need and aluminum tabs for Ronald McDonald House. Collection baskets are located in the vestibule of St. Lawrence and St Luke's churches.

Congratulations to the Class of 2017!

On June 12, we celebrated the Baccalaureate Mass and Graduation for our 8th Grade students. It was a beautiful celebration of our graduates' accomplishments in their faith, service and academic development over the past eight

years. Father Vince shared Saint John Paul II's message to "Be Not Afraid!" His message to our graduates was to be not afraid to live your faith, serve others and dream.

Over $82,000 was awarded to graduates! Many students were recipients of scholarships and awards from our Diocesan high schools, Knights of Columbus, community organizations and generous benefactors of our school. Students were

recognized for outstanding academic achievements, living their faith, serving others, leadership and more. God Bless our Graduates!

This year's Volunteer Appreciation Award was given to parent, Pam Darley. Mrs. Darley has been volunteering for our school since its inception in 2008- many times "behind the scenes." She volunteered as room parent, track coach, event planner for class and school

events and much more. We thank Mrs. Darley for the time, treasure and talent she has given to us over the years as her youngest son, Kenny, is one of our graduates this year.

Mrs. Darley will be missed!

~Registration is open until July 5 for our new Summer Faith Formation Program. The program will run daily from July 10 through July 21 from 8:00-11:30 a.m. This program is for children entering the 3rd through 7th grades. Program guidelines and registration forms were emailed to all eligible families. Please call Michele in the parish office at 856-627-2222 for more information or to register your children in our program. ~We are need of a few volunteer catechists and adult aides for our year long program beginning in September. There are substitute openings in both the Sunday morning and Monday afternoon programs. We also have 3 openings for adult aides in the Monday afternoon program in 1st, 2nd and 3rd grades. Please call the parish office for more information and to volunteer. ~Registration forms for new families entering our Faith Formation Program will be available at the parish center and on the parish website beginning Friday, June 30. All children entering the 1st grade in September are eligible to register.
