Price is for min 20pax. ITINERARY Dec 8: USA/MEXICO Depart USA Airport. Arrive in Mexico City. You will be welcomed at the airport by our English- speaking tour guide. We proceed to the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe for Mass in honor of the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. Dinner and overnight in Mexico City. (D) Dec 9: PUEBLA / MEXICO CITY After breakfast, we travel to Puebla and have a short city orientation, then visit the Cathedral of Puebla and the famous Holy Rosary chapel. Lunch in Puebla. Proceed to the town of Ocotlan. See the image of Our Lady burnt into a tree trunk after she appeared to Juan Diego Bernardino in 1541 (not the same Juan Diego of Our Lady of Guadalupe). Drive back to Mexico City for dinner and overnight in our hotel. (B/D) Dec 10: MEXICO CITY After breakfast, enjoy an extensive visit of the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe. View the tilma of St. Juan Diego, which still bears Our Lady’s imprint. If time permits, climb Mt Tepeyac to the chapel on top, site of the first apparition. In the afternoon, enjoy a sightseeing tour of the Zocalo, the heart of Mexico City, including the Cathedral and baptismal place of Juan Diego. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. (B/D) Dec 11: CITY TOUR OF MEXICO CITY / XOCHIMILCO After breakfast, drive to Coyoacan to visit the Church of El Carmen, Church of Santa Catarina, and the Church of St. John the Baptist, Proceed to Chapultepec Castle/National Museum of Anthropology, which started as a retreat for Aztec rulers then rebuilt into the palace of Emperor Maximilian of Habsburg, then the residence for Mexico’s presidents, then converted into the National History Museum Anthropology, which is also part of Chapultepec Park. After lunch, drive to Xochimilco, a marine ecological reserve and UNESCO World Heritage site. We ride a ‘trainer,’ a colorful flat-bottomed boat, and drift through waterways dotted with floating gardens of flowers. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight. (B/D) Dec 12: MEXICO CITY [Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe] After breakfast, visit the place of apparition of Our Lady to Juan Bernardino, uncle of Juan Diego. Proceed to the pyramids of Teotihuacan, the place of Sun and Moon, the temple of Quetzalcoatl. In the afternoon, proceed to the Basilica for a farewell visit to our Lady of Guadalupe. Farewell dinner and overnight. (B/D) Dec 13: RETURN TO USA After breakfast, transfer to Mexico City Airport to fly back to US. Arrive the same day. Dec 8: USA/MEXICO Depart USA Airport. Arrive in Mexico City. You will be welcomed at the airport by our English- speaking tour guide. We proceed to the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe for Mass in honor of the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. Dinner and overnight in Mexico City. (D) Dec 9: PUEBLA / MEXICO CITY
