Robert Letourneau, Assistant 978-265-3183 [email protected] Yard Sale — Saturday, May 18 VERY IMPORTANT! — Bring whatever extra you have (NOT clothing, please!) for which you would like to find a “new home!” You would be surprised how many “neighbors” - if asked—also have such items and would be happy to donate them to our sale. All “stock” should be deposited at the Church (we will store it downstairs) between Thursday noon, May 16, to 7:00 pm on Friday, May 17th. HELP is needed from 7:00 am Saturday, until we close at 3:30 pm. A small assortment of new books from Tan have been assembled on the small pink table in the corner of the dining hall. There are a few titles which I think many of you have never seen, e.g., Benson’s Come Rack, Come Rope & Religion of the Plain Man Mater Christi by Mother St. Paul — great books! Special Thanks to all who so kindly gave of their time and labor for the cleaning of the Church & setting up things for Holy Week and Easter! God reward you! WELCOME, NEWCOMERS If this is the first time you have attended the Traditional Latin Mass, you may have noticed that our parishioners do not dress casually in the church. Since the changes in the Church, few parishes have any kind of dress code. Here, however, we still believe that modesty and appropriate attire are necessary, especially in Church out of reverence for the Blessed Sacrament. Please observe these minimum standards of dress for at- tendance at Church services: Women and girls must cover their heads. Chapel veils or mantillas are availa- ble for loan in the vestibule. They should also wear dresses or skirts that cover the knee completely when standing or sitting; slacks and shorts are not permitted, nor is sleeveless, tight or low-cut clothing. Men and boys should wear a suit coat and tie. (High temps—suit coat optional) Jeans & other casual attire are inappropriate for attendance at Church services. Also, unless you have been attending the Latin Mass exclusively, you should refrain from receiving Holy Communion until you have met with Father.
