DIRECTORSDONALD PAISLEY is in his third year as a member of the theatre faculty at Otterbein. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan and is currently completing his Ph.D. Past Otterbein directing credits include: Hot L. Baltimore, The Little Foxes, Streets of New York, Tartuffe, Let*s Get A Divorce, and Christmas Carol.
JOANNE VAN SANT is Dean of Students at Otterbein. A native Kentuckian, she holds a B.A. degree from Denison University with an M.A. from Ohio State. She began teaching at Otterbein in 1948 and has served actively as choreographer in every musical since, including Knickerbocker Holiday, The Student Prince, Oklahoma!, Brigadoon in 1957 and 1967, Carousel, The Mus/c Mon, My Fa ir Lady, Camelot, Fiddler on the Roof, Canterbury Tales, Kiss Me Kate, Cabaret, Showboat, and Applause.
DENNIS KRATZER, D irector of Choral and Vocal Music, came to Otterbein from Ohio Northern University. He received his B.M. and M.M. from Bowling Green State University. Dennis has appeared in lead roles in such shows as Oklahoma, Little Mary Sunshine, Applause and 1776. He is also Director of Music at the Huron Playhouse and Music Director/Pianist for live shows at Cedar Point during the summer months.
FRED THAYER, designer-technical director at Otterbein since I960, was graduated from Bowling Green State University with an M.A. in Theatre. He has designed for the University of Toledo, Bowling Green and the Huron Playhouse. Designer of more than 115 productions, he has studied in New York with do Mielziner and Lester Polakov and frequently serves as a technical consult
ant.KATHLEEN LEWICKI, the newest member of the Otterbein Theatre Department, graduated from SUNY at Geneseo with a B.A. in 1975 and a M.F.A. from Carnegie-MelIon in 1978. She designed costumes for Hedda Gabler and designed the set for The Merchant of Venice during her first year at Otterbein. She will also design the set for the last production of the year. How the Other Half Loves. Ms. Lewicki will be part of the designer staff for Otterbein Summer Theatre.
