“Japanese for Busy People 1, 3rd revised ed. Romanised version”.

Intermediate-1/Intermediate-2 Intermediate classes will introduce students to Kanji. Both classes will be using the textbook “Japanese for Busy People 2, 3rd revised ed. Romanised version”. Advanced-1 Students will focus on acquiring skills required to pass the Japanese Language Proficiency Test, levels 4 & 3. Students learn to recognize and read 500 Kanji.

Advanced-2 This class is for those who have lived in Japan and have the ability to converse in Japanese using the polite form. Students will focus on acquiring the skills required to pass the “Language Proficiency Test, levels 2 & 1”

Oto-Wa Taiko is a Japanese drumming group in the National Capital Region that performs at various public and private events, offers semi-annual general interest workshops, and weekly recreational taiko classes for beginner and intermediate players.

DAGAKU (Children’s Taiko) E JDate: TBD $ $120/10 Classes

Dagaku is a children’s taiko group, aiming to foster the joy of taiko and other Japanese cultural elements among children. The group meets once a week and practices during the school year, with several performances throughout the year; often with Oto-Wa Taiko.
