Configuration


You can configure OTRS before using it.

(1) Configuration (OTRS Configuration)

On OTRS Explorer: 1. Click [OTRS Configuration] in [ ]

menu. [Configuration] screen appears.

(i) How to reach the screen

Follow the steps below to display [Configuration] screen.

Some data are preset on installing OTRS. You can modify them according to your operational environment.

The items of [Configuration] screen are shown below.

(ii) Items of configuration

* “Common Setting: Combination Chart” is for the users of Model 401 and greater. It does not appear on the system of Model 301.

Configuration


Follow the steps below to make a configuration set.

(i) Default Configuration Set / Edit Configuration Set

Print Header / Footer in [Report] screen

1. Click [Add New Configuration Set] in [▽] drop down list.

2. Enter the name of configuration set. 3. Set up items below. Category Group / Word Pickup / Logo / Print Header / Print Footer

Specify a configuration set for motion analysis as default.

1. Select a configuration set from [▽] and click [OK].

It will be used as the default of motion analysis.

Header Footer

Enter Print Header/Footer for Report function.

[Category] columns appear in the element table as many as checked category groups.

Check [□] on to use it. Without checking, [Category] columns do not appear in the element table.

Configuration


This section describes how to make category groups and types which are used in element tables of each function.

(i) Category Group／Type

1. Enter types.

2. Click [ ] and a color table opens.

3. Select a background color. The color of the cell of [Type] changes to it.

1. Select “Add New Category Group” in [▽] drop down list.

2. Enter a name of category group.

3. Enter categories.

4. Select a type from [▽] drop down list.

5. Select a background color using [ ].

Configuration


1. Select [Add New Word Pickup] in [▽] drop down list.

2. Enter a name of word pickup.

3. Enter words for word pickup and click [OK].

Words are registered for word pickup.

(ii) Word Pickup

You can register words for [Word Pickup] used at element tables.

You can modify, copy, delete words of word pickup as well as in editing category group.

Configuration


1. Click [ ] to register a logo. [Open] window appears.

2. Select a logo to use and click [Open].

3. Enter memorandum if necessary.

4. Click [OK] and registration is completed.

(iii) Logo

Follow the steps below to register logos to be printed on outputs.

Recommended logo size is 150 x 50 pixels.

Follow the steps below to configure terminal-specific setting.

1. Enter paths to output, input and for user document and click [OK].

You can enter any existing paths.

(i) Folder Setting

Output You can specify folders where to output files. Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, movie, narration, image Input You can specify folders where to input files. You can refer to your own document from [ ] menu.

(ii) Output Setting

Output Size of Image Enter the default of output size of image. Prefix for Output Enter a prefix for file names of output. Hardware assisted This switch specifies where to use hardware assist to play movies. "Enabled" makes most movies played smooth, but some movies noisy or disordered. "Disabled" may make such movies played properly. At the same time, the response to operations might be delayed.

Follow the steps below to configure image output setting.

Select language of OTRS.

(iii) Language

Telop Input Setting Set the default font of [Telop] in Movie Option menu.

(iv) Input Setting

Set the default font style of [Comment] in Property and [Telop] in Movie Option menu.

1. Click [▽].

2. Select one from drop down list and click [OK].

Enter your own technical terms at [Language Set] in [Common Setting].

1. Select the time unit. DM / SEC / H:M:S

(i) Appearance

1. Select the number of digits after the decimal point for screen, standard work combination chart and reports.

(4) Common Setting

SEC with 2 digits after the decimal point

DM with 3 digits DM with 3 digits

Set the time unit in element table.

Specify the names of category for standard work combination chart and whether to use wait item or not.

1. Enter the names of category. they appears in “Combination Chart” column in element table.

1. Select whether to use wait item or not.

Standard work combination chart is for the users of Model 401 and greater.

Setting category for combination chart in motion analysis results in automatic tabulation in standard work combination chart.

Configuration


1. Select a language from [▽].

2. Enter only such words that you want to substitute into [Editing Language] and click [OK].

A language set is registered. The language set is reflected on screen after selecting it at “Language” of “Terminal Setting”.

(iii) Language Set

The default word “Invalid” changes to “Waste”.

Or, you can use your own language by entering words into “Editing Language”.

1. Enter words into “Editing Language” and register.

The terms change.

You can substitute built-in technical terms for ones of your own.

OTRS can be used multi lingually through “Language Set”.

Configuration


You can export setting of OTRS Configuration of a PC and import it into another PC.

1. Click [Export All Setting] in OTRS Configuration. [Save As] window appears. 2. Specify path where to output and click [Save]. [Save As] window closes and a file containing all setting is created.

You can export all setting of OTRS Configuration.

(4) Export ／ Import

1. Confirm that “Edited Language” of Word Setting is filled in and click [Export Language Set]. [Save As] window appears. 2. Specify path where to output and click [Save]. [Save As] window closes and a language set file is created.

You can export the registered “Edited Language” by set of languages.

You can import all registration settings from settings file created on other PC.

(ii)Import setting data

１．On the[Configuration]menu, click [Import setting data]. [Open] windows are displayed. ２． Select exported date. Click[Open]. Next windows are displayed. ３．Click[Yes]. All configuration settings are imported. ４．Check the imported settings. Click[Ok]. Imported file are stored.

You can import Editing Language from settings file created on other PC.
