OSHA 10-Hour & 30-Hour Training for Construction (29CFR1926)

The 10-Hour Training Program for Construction is intended to provide

construction workers with a base-line awareness of the OSHA Standards,

an overview of hazard recognition, and tips on preventing injuries while on

the job. This program provides an excellent overview of health and safety

issues common to the construction industry and can be customized for

your type of construction.

PMA’s training programs provide education for workers and employers on the recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention of safety and health hazards in the workplace, specifically focused on OSHA regulations. Each program provides valuable information regarding workers’ rights, employer responsibilities, and the important role OSHA plays in promoting workplace safety.

10-Hour Construction Industry Topics❍❍ Mandatory (7 hours)

•  Introduction to OSHA (2 hours)

The 30-Hour Construction Training Program is a more in-depth version of the OSHA 10-Hour Course, and is geared toward

individuals who have some level of safety responsibility (leading others). This program is an excellent method of providing

managers, supervisors, and foremen the “tools” that are critical to implementing a successful safety process at the workplace.

Participants will have the opportunity to gain a strong orientation to the OSHA Standards for Construction, 29CFR1926. In

addition, attendees will learn how to recognize basic construction hazards and implement corrective measures through interactive

classroom instruction and hands-on demonstrations conducted throughout the course.

OSHA 10-Hour & 30-Hour Training for General Industry (29CFR1910)The 10-Hour General Industry Training Program is intended to provide general industry workers with a broad

awareness of the OSHA Standards, an overview of hazard recognition, and tips on preventing injuries while on the job.

In addition, the 10-Hour General Industry course is an excellent orientation program for new employees.

❍❍ Exit Routes, Emergency Action Plans, Fire Prevention (1-hour segment)

The 30-Hour General Industry Training Program is a more in-depth version of the OSHA 10-Hour Course, and is geared

toward individuals who have some level of safety responsibility (leading others). This program is an excellent method of

General Information❍❍ All participants will receive a participant’s manual which

also serves as an excellent field guide for future reference. 

Those participants who successfully complete the program

will be issued a completion card as required by the OSHA

Standard.

❍❍ All courses are led by Authorized OSHA Trainers who are

members of PMA’s Risk Control Services staff.

❍❍ Class Size: Minimum of 5, Maximum of 40 participants
