Case history
• Class 1• Rotation of 15/25• Problem of leveling/aliening
• Cast analysis• Photography• Extraction of 14/24• MBT bracket
• Started with 0.14 niti• 0.16 Niti• 0.18 SS• 0.20SS• Rectangular 19/25
• Surgical plan
Discussion
• Delayed or impaction of central teeth• 0.13%
• Causes• Trauma• Milk teeth• Fibrous tissue
• To doubt impaction• More than 6 month• Early eruption of lateral
• Diagnosis• Radiography
• Adequate space (9mm)• Removing barrier• 75% auto eruption
o When auto eruption not occur:• Plant of brackets and bands• For more than 10y• Leveling/aliening• Opening coil
• When 0.20 ss or 19/25 rect.
Impacted canine teeth
• Early diagnosis/prevention• Causes• Molar teeth• Canine ankylosis• Other barrier
• SUPPOSITION OF IMPACTION• More than 15y• Canine prominence in 11-12y• Bilateral• Lateral inclination
o When we can extrude ?• After 12y• Adequate space in arch• No any barrier in the path• Close apex• No dilaceration
• Or extracted canine and then:• Replace the Pm teeth• Prosthesis• Implant• Auto eruption
o Labialy impacted canine• Mostly meiso labialy• At first lev/alie• Rect ss• When it is near the lateral root
o Palataly canine teeth• No auto eruption• Two way1. Open the 2/3 crown and plant bracket2. Open the crown and wait
• No extraction of PM• Both arch under treatment• Low continuous force
o For prevention of revers1. Early rotation treatment2. Supra crestal fibrotomy3. Torque4. Fixed retainer5. Palatal mucosa removing
o Some time extractin is able than extrusion:1. Malposition2. Ankylosis3. Resorption4. Sever dilaceration5. Malformed teeth
Impacted premolar
• Early missing of M2(milk)• Mesialy movement of M1• Extraction of PM1
• Rectoangular ss• Surgical plan
