BAM Software Structure BAM Application

Monitor Service: BAM Service ， BAM Service monitors the BAM Manager. It can also restart the BAM.

Process Management : BAM Manager ， is a function management module for the software of the whole equipment. It manages other service processing modules and monitors their running state.

Setting BAM Hard Disk in RAID 1 Mode

The following information means setting correct

Logical Drive # 1, RAID 1, 33.9 GB, OK


Check Partitions and Capability of Hard Disk

Partition capacity of logical drive is assigned with the following :

Drive C: 6 GB, install operating system (Windows 2000

Server) and database management software (SQL Server

2000).

Drive D: 15 GB, install BAM server software and storing the

system databases.

Drive E: 3 GB, store the log files of the databases.

Drive F: remain space (about 10.3 GB), mainly used for

backing up system databases, and registry information.

Attention: The File system format should be NTFS.

BAM database backup file generated on MM (month) DD (day) YYYY (year)

F:\CSOFTX3000\InitialDbBkp.datIt is the initial BAM database file. By replacing the present file with this file, BAM database state is restored to initial state.
